Andrew
joined the
staff in
2005 and
is the tutor
for admissions.
He teaches
Biblical
Studies.
After
studying
theology
in Oxford,
he taught
religious
education
in secondary
schools,
during which
time he pursued
postgraduate
studies in
education
in London.
He trained
for ministry
in the Church
of England
in Nottingham,
during which
he pursued
doctoral
studies now
published
as Chaos
and the Son
of Man: The
Hebrew Chaoskampf
Tradition
in the Period
515 BCE to
200 CE (London/New
York: T&T
Clark, 2006).
After this
he worked
in parish
ministry
in the diocese
of Rochester.
He
has contributed
articles
in the areas
of new testament
and intertestamental
studies to
collections
of essays
and to the
forthcoming
Encyclopedia
of the Bible
and its Reception,
most recently
