Ron joined the staff team in 2007 as an associate tutor. He acts as mentor and tutor to Anglican ordinands.
He studied theology in Cambridge and trained for ministry within the Church of England in Mirfield. Ordained in 1961, he has worked in parish ministry in Derbyshire and London, and in university chaplaincy in London. Most recently he was Master of the Royal Foundation of St Katharine in Stepney until his retirement.
He enjoys literature, music, theatre and film and is very interested in the interface between theology and the arts.
He lives in Sussex, is married to Celia and has two children, and a grandson.
