The SEITE community is a dispersed community. We live, work and meet to study all over the south-east of England. Our main office is located in Medway, although we have a subsidiary office in central London. Our teaching takes place in a variety of locations.

Midweek classes are taught in two teaching centres. The Medway teaching centre is based on the Canterbury Christ Church University, Medway Campus. The Southwark teaching centre is based in the Southwark Cathedral Education Centre.

We run the same programmes in our two different centres and so students either attend midweek classes at Southwark or Medway. The Southwark classes are on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm – 9.00pm. The Medway classes are on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm – 9.00pm. At both centres we meet for worship at 6.30pm and teaching begins at 6.45pm.

SEITE uses a variety of centres for its residential teaching. These centres are all located in the South East of England and provide comfortable accommodation and good teaching facilities. Currently we use Aylesford Priory near Maidstone in Kent, Ashburnham Place in West Sussex, the King Charles Hotel in Gillingham and the King’s School, Canterbury. Our centres range from ancient to modern and from secular to those steeped in centuries of Christian tradition. They provide a warm welcome, places of peace and beautiful surroundings.

Ministerial students only are required to attend residential teaching. Normally, students will attend six residential weekends per year in addition to an annual residential school at Easter.

The SEITE Offices
The main SEITE office is in Chatham. It is the base for our administrative team and houses our library of over 12,000 volumes. There is another SEITE office in Southwark.
